Lil Danny Our Son

Lil Danny the Senior and ready to move on into the big world. He is non-stop doing something. Of course, it maybe sitting playing a video game. Or it could be hunting, fishing or talking about them at least.
He is working his way through college at LSU. He works at the LSU Dairy, feeding and milking cows there. He is going to college for Dairy Science.
He also loves to pick on the girls. Sometimes he gets the best of them, but they do get the best of him sometimes also. He also has a girlfriend that we all love and enjoy having around. We all gang up on him when they are around.
We are both very proud of him. I may not be his biological mother, but I could not love him more if he was my own son. I am very proud of him and love him very much.

Nicole & Her Ways

When I think of Nicole, I think of animals and toys. This girl loves animals and seems to attract them.
Next to animals, she loves stuffed animals. Thank God she now has a play house, to keep some of them.

Her favorite animal is cats and she can tell you everything you want to know about cats. Just remember don't argue with her about it, because she is probably right, since she reads alot about cats.

She loves to read alot and I think she has her own personal library. I guess that is why she has been able to skip a grade in school.
She also like to dress in dresses now alot. And just to think that 3 years ago, she was such a tomboy, she would not even look at a dress and wanted her hair short.
Nicole is adopted by me and my ex-husband. But even though I did not carry her, I love her with all my heart. She has been mine from day one and will always be mine. Things may not always be easy being a mother, but I am proud of her and love her. I look forward to sharing in her future life.

Becca loves Sports

When I think of Becca, I think of sports. She loves sports of any kind. I don't mean just to watch, she loves to play. She is also good at which every one she is doing at the time.

She started this school year off with volleyball. Even though the team did not win any games, she played her hardest and gave it all she could.
We had fun going to the games and watching her play and help her team in any way that she could. Nicole would sit with her friends to watch the team play.
Becca is my stepdaugher, but like I tell her, I don't like steps. I am so proud of her and love her so very much. I enjoy talking with her and teaching her things about life. I look forward to sharing in her future life. I am proud to have her as my daughter.

Danny: The Man of Our Family

One thing that makes Danny happy, besides family is COWS. We have some show calves that Rebecca shows. He loves working with cows, so at least part of his job, he loves to go to work. He now owns along with his family, the cattle on the Florence Ranch.

I do help him take care of them in any way that I can and I always love being with the cows. We made friends with one of the calves this summer. As she grew, she acted more like a pet than a calf in a field full of cows. She comes up to us and let us pet her all over. I think she thinks she is a dog instead of a calf. She loves to give us kisses (licking us).
She loves for Danny to rub her on her belly. Yes, her belly.

Yes, we are keeping her. She is #1 of our 2009 heifers and sports a cow eartag saying #01. She still comes up to us in the field to get her rub down.
Danny is kind, honest, caring and very hard working. He also loves to cook and do things with family. So when he is not working long hours in the cane fields, he will cook for us. He loves to fry food, barbecue, and boil crawfish. Which our family loves all of them, so we enjoy it when he has time.

Wedding

Aug. 9, 2009: After divorces were final we were finally married. Had a very small wedding ceremony. Our pastor Bro. Billy did the ceremony at our church. Our witnesses were our pastor's wife Mrs. Judy, my cousin/brother Brian. Had our girls Rebecca and Nicole standing there with us. Brian's family was there with us to celebrate.
After the ceremony, we came to our house for coffee. Yes, there was no honeymoon. But then at our age, who needs a honeymoon.
After a few weeks of cleaning Danny's trailer, it was time for the new Pearce family moved into it.
